2013 in a nutshell

I don't even know where to begin to describe my year. If I had to choose one word, I suppose it would be busy.

In January my beloved Nana passed away. I had the pleasure of seeing lots of family when we all gathered together to remember her and see her off to a much better place. Until we meet again, Nana. <3
I also wasted some of my life watching American Idol and seeing Nicki Minaj on it. It says a lot about the human race that she is one of the top hip hop artists of all time. Puke.
Throughout the whole year, I still have managed to wash the same load of laundry over and over and over and over again... I think you get the point. Maybe that should be a New Years resolution... to actually follow through with my laundry! Meh, who am I kidding. That's never going to happen.
In March, I celebrated being alive another year.
In April, I chopped off all of my hair.
In May I went to Moab with my boys and hiked to a few of the arches. It was glorious and I have every intention of doing it again. It'll have to wait until after I can walk up more than a flight of stairs without getting winded though. We also bought tickets to the Paramore concert and it was AMAZING. Oh wait, they cancelled it and crushed my dreams. Nevermind! I celebrated my first mothers day, and I'm hoping it will only go up from there. It was awful. Haha. We went to Florida and got to go to DISNEY WORLD with my family. It was simply magical, and exhausting. I wanted to die every morning when we got up, then I had so much fun and forgot all about my exhaustion. After Disney World, I stayed in Florida at my sisters house for a visit. The beach there is fantastic.
In June I went to Illinois to visit my parents, and Iowa to visit my brother. I then drove 20 hours home with my sister in law, Lincoln, and her 3 kids. They all did rather well. We went to the pool. A lot. I loved it.
In July we celebrated Indepedance Day by going to the freedom festival and watching fireworks in the back of our truck at Thanksgiving point. Best idea ever. I chopped my hair off even more.
In August, we celebrated Lincoln's first birthday and he was spoiled rotten!
In September, Dexter ended and I died a little inside. Then Breaking Bad ended and I died a little more. I went to Oregon to visit my sister. We also got to go to Disney Land with our good friends.
In October we got to go Trick or Treating with Lincoln for the first time. I think I had more fun than he did. It's so exciting!! He was a cow and it was adorable.
In November we had a great Thanksgiving at the Doyle's house. Lincoln also had his first haircut. Crazy exciting, I know.
In December Trevor left me for 12 days to go to Vietnam and Lincoln and I partied. We also went to Illinois to my parents house for Christmas. It was our first time with my family in 4 years! It wasn't all of the family, but it was still nice to be there. We saw Anchorman 2 and were VERY DISAPPOINTED. It was no match for the first one. As I'm writing this, Trevor is busy playing the new batman game and we will be ringing in the new year (probably before midnight) soon. We'll see if I can make it until then.

So pretty much all I did was travel. Maybe next year I'll get some personal goals accomplished. I'm not very good at setting and reaching goals so I'm not very optimistic.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. Thanks for reading.
